The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities has achieved a new level of uniqueness and efficiency through providing an online tour to some of the most visited sites in Egypt including the amazing Ben Ezra Synagogue which is located on Mary Girgis St. near the Coptic Museum and Saint Sergius & Bacchus Church. The synagogue got its name from Abraham Ibn Ezra who was the Jewish religious scholar & philosopher. Inside the synagogue, you will find three halls in the basilica style and the one in the central part is the largest & the tallest and is surmounted by an octagonal dome. On the east wall of the synagogue, you will find the sanctuary where Torah has been preserved.
