El Alamein Tour from Alexandria Port
You will be taken from your cruise ship (outside the exit door) by one of our professional tour guides to start your day trip by driving a modern private A/C vehicle to El Alamein in the west of Alexandria. Getting to El Alamein City, you will be guided to visit Commonwealth War Cemetery; it's a haunting site which consists of a large number of graves which were the resting place of the Australian, Italian and German soldiers died in El Alamein Battle during the World War II in October 1942. Then you will head to El Alamein War Museum; it's the ideal place to know the detailed events of World War II. The museum is a glorious exhibition of guns, tanks, and military equipment used in the war. The museum had established in 1956 as a memorial of El Alamein Battle and it had been renewing and reopened in 1992. We will drive you to Alexandria where you will enjoy a tasty lunch at a very good restaurant then transfer you back to your cruise ship.
