Ten days is enough to experience several of Egypt’s major destinations, although it is not enough to see everything the country offers. A well-planned itinerary can combine Cairo with Luxor and Aswan, include a Nile cruise, and still leave room for another destination such as Hurghada or Alexandria.
A 10-day Egypt itinerary can include the Giza Pyramids, historic Cairo, Luxor’s East and West Banks, Aswan, and several sites along the Nile. Depending on the route, you can also include Abu Simbel, Alexandria, Hurghada, Faiyum, or parts of the Western Desert.
Yes. A Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan can fit comfortably into many 10-day itineraries. The remaining days can be used for Cairo and another destination such as Hurghada or Alexandria, depending on your preferred route and travel pace.
Choose Hurghada if you want Red Sea beaches, snorkeling, diving, or time to relax after sightseeing. Alexandria is a better fit if you prefer Mediterranean scenery, Greco-Roman history, museums, and another cultural destination alongside Cairo and Upper Egypt.
