Aswan High Dam is considered the best modern achievement for the Egyptians, which was constructed between 1960 and 1970 because of its notable effects on the social, political, and economic life in Egypt. The water from the annual flood is saved in Lake Nasser in order to produce electricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk was constructed during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), who wanted to build the two greatest obelisks in front of the Karnak temples, but this one experienced some cracks that led Queen Hatshepsut to make the decision to transfer it to its location in Aswan. It is one of the most magical open-air museums showcasing the carving skills of ancient Egyptian artisans.

Finally, you'll be transferred to a 5-star hotel in Aswan to check in and stay overnight.

Abu Simbel Temples

The mesmerizing temples of Abu Simbel will change your mood and let you explore the real concept of greatness left by the Ancient Pharaohs who wished to stand the test of time. 

One of them is called the great temple of Abu Simbel which was built for the great pharaoh Ramesses II (1279-1213 BC) to commemorate two special events in his life (his birthday and his coronation), one of them was his victory in the great Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC which ended in the signing of the first documented peace treaty ever made. The smaller temple in Abu Simbel was also built by King Ramesses II, but for his lovely wife Queen Nefertari.

Take some gorgeous pictures there, and then you'll be transferred back to Aswan to have your lunch, and then you'll head to the train station to catch your 1st class train to Luxor.

After you witness the last cultural attraction of Luxor, you'll begin a different stage of your Egypt itinerary, 10 days, by shifting your scenery to Hurghada by a modern private A/C vehicle to check in at a 5-star hotel in Hurghada and overnight there.
