It is located next to the funerary temple of Mentuhotep II.

Colossi of Memnon

Colossi of Memnon is basically two huge statues of the king that are considered one of the wonders of the ancient world. Both of the statues were sculpted from one block of sandstone and the height of each statue is about 18 meters narrating some of the most epic facts and tales.
