Upon your arrival at Luxor City, our tour guide will meet you to take you on a Journey to the Heart of the Ancient capital of Egypt starting by visiting:
Karnak Temple is a massive ancient temple complex that was built over a period of 2000 years. The construction of the temple was initiated by Pharaoh Senusret I of the Middle Kingdom and continued by subsequent pharaohs, including Hatshepsut, and Ramses II. The complex covers an area of 200 acres and contains a vast array of buildings, including temples, chapels, pylons, and obelisks.
Luxor Souk is an immersive marketplace that blends vibrant and bustling bazaars filled with colorful stalls selling an array of goods from textiles and spices to jewelry and pottery creating a lively atmosphere that transports visitors to another world. As you wander through the maze-like alleys, you will encounter skilled artisans crafting beautiful handmade goods, adding to the magical ambiance.
As you step into the local school in Luxor, you will be greeted with the sound of children's laughter and colorful classrooms. You will have the chance to interact with them, learn about their culture, and maybe even teach your kids something new. As you leave, you will feel inspired by the passion and dedication of these young learners and their teachers.

Enjoy your breakfast on board, then head with your tour guide to experience the magic of the West Bank of Luxor such as:
The Valley of the Kings is an ancient burial ground that contains the tombs of pharaohs and powerful nobles from the New Kingdom period, dating back to the 18th century BC. The tombs were constructed with intricate decorations and religious texts, providing insight into the beliefs and practices of the ancient Egyptians.
Hatshepsut Temple was built in the 15th century BC during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut. The temple features a series of terraces and colonnades, with statues of the pharaoh, gods, and mythical creatures adorning the complex. Today, it is one of the most visited sites in Egypt, providing a glimpse into the opulence and power of the New Kingdom period.
These statues, known as the Colossi of Memnon, towered at a height of 60 feet as if reaching out to touch the sky. The people of Egypt believed that the statues were infused with magic and that the sound of their voices could be heard at dawn as if the spirits of the pharaohs were calling out to the world.

An Unforgettable Encounter with Egypt's Rich History
The whole family will have delicious breakfast on board before discovering the Ancient Wonders of Edfu and Kom Ombo:
Edfu Temple is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples and was dedicated to the God Horus. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period, between 237- 57 BC, on the site of a previous temple dating back to the Old Kingdom period. The temple's impressive facade features intricate reliefs and towering columns, while the interior is adorned with detailed carvings and hieroglyphs.
Then move to visit the Kom Ombo temple by horse carriage:
Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Ptolemaic period, between 180 - 47 BC, on the site of an earlier temple that dates back to the New Kingdom. The temple is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. The temple features stunning reliefs and carvings, including a famous depiction of surgical instruments that attests to the ancient Egyptians' advanced knowledge of medicine.

Abu Simbel- The Majestic Temple of Ancient Egypt
Receive your breakfast in the early morning, then head with your tour guide to visit The Magnificent Shrine of Ramses II.
Abu Simbel is a complex of two massive rock temples that were built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, with the larger temple dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, and the smaller temple dedicated to the Goddess Hathor. The temple’s most notable feature is the four colossal statues of Ramesses II that adorn the facade of the larger temple, each measuring over 20 meters in height.
The Nubian Village is a fascinating destination with a rich cultural heritage. The Nubian people have their own distinct language, customs, and traditions that have been passed down through generations. Visitors can enjoy boat rides along the Nile, explore the local markets, and indulge in traditional Nubian cuisine while experiencing the warm hospitality of this ancient and enchanting community.

This great construction is one of the largest dams in the world and provides a reliable source of electricity and irrigation for the region. The dam has also helped to control the annual flooding of the Nile, which was once a major problem for farmers and residents along the riverbanks.
Philae Temple is a magnificent ancient Egyptian temple complex that was dedicated to the Goddess Isis. The temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty and features stunning columns, carvings, and reliefs that tell the stories of the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt. Visitors can explore the temple complex and admire the intricate details and craftsmanship of this impressive archaeological site.
The Unfinished Obelisk is a massive ancient monument that measures around 42 meters in length and weighs approximately 1,168 tons, making it one of the largest obelisks in the world. The obelisk was never completed, despite its unfinished state, the obelisk provides a unique insight into the techniques and tools used by ancient Egyptians in quarrying and carving stone.
