Explore The Great Abu Simbel Temples
The Group Egypt tour will begin the day with breakfast boxes before departing with their tour guide in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples.
Built in the 13th century BC by Ramses the Great (1303–1213 BC), these awe-inspiring Abu Simbel temples were designed to immortalize his legacy and military triumphs, including his famous victory at the Battle of Kadesh, which led to the first recorded peace treaty in history.
The Great Temple of Ramses II is renowned for its Sun Festival, occurring twice a year (February 22 & October 22), when sunlight illuminates the statues of Ra-Horakhty, Amun, Ptah, and Ramses himself.
