The two temples of Abu Simbel were built by the great pharaoh Ramesses II. The most amazing thing about them is that this pharaoh wanted his great temple to be lightened twice a year, one in the date of reaching the throne on 22nd of October and the second time is on 22nd of February on the date of his birthday.
The other smaller temple was dedicated to his wife, Nefertari, the one whom he loved very much and wanted to make her special.
You will have your fancy lunch at a local restaurant and then return to your hotel in Aswan for overnight.
