The best-known legendary three pyramids of Giza are the best of ancient Egypt monuments which are located at the Giza Plateau and date back to the 4th dynasty. The most massive pyramid on the site is the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, regarded as the tallest architectural building in the world for many thousands of years.

The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids located on the Giza plateau in Egypt. It was built in 2570 BC during the Fourth Dynasty (approximately 2580-2560 BC) as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu, who ruled Egypt for 23 years. The pyramid's interior features several chambers and passages, including the King's Chamber, the Queen's Chamber, and the Grand Gallery. The King's Chamber contains a large granite sarcophagus, although it is unclear whether Khufu was actually buried inside it.

Saqqara Step Pyramid
The Saqqara Pyramid is the first pyramid ever erected in Ancient Egypt which was structured upon the order of King Djoser in the 3rd dynasty. What is special about the Saqqara step pyramid is that it was a stepping structure of six marvelous steps. It was built during the Third Dynasty, around 2700 BC, for the pharaoh Djoser by his brilliant architect Imhotep. The Step Pyramid is one of the oldest known stone structures in the world, and it represents a significant advancement in ancient Egyptian architecture.

The Catacombs
The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is one of the most recognizable historical sites in Alexandria dating back to the Roman time which was the final resting place for a single family between the 2nd century and the 4th century AD and it's a large collection of wonderfully decorated tombs. This site was thought to be one of the world's wonders in the middle ages and some historians claimed that a tomb of this extensive complex had included both human and animal remains.
Pompey's Pillar
Pompey's Pillar is an ancient Roman monument that consists of a single column standing in the middle of Alexandria over a rocky hill. This legendary pillar was made from red granite and it was believed to be built on the eastern side of the Serapeum of Alexandria between 298–302 AD and towered almost 30 meters.
Qaitbey Citadel
Sultan Qaitbey had planned and constructed this stunning fortress between 1477 AD to 1479 AD as the protector element of the city and defended it against the advance of the Ottoman Army. The current structure of the Qaitbay citadel isn't the original since it was completely affected during some of the British attacks on Alexandria in 1882 then it was reconstructed within the early years of the 20th century.

Mohammed Ali Mosque is a shining beacon of classical Ottoman beauty which is one of Cairo Citadel's possessions that was constructed during the ruling time of Muhammed Ali and it's well known as "The Alabaster Mosque". This wonderfully decorated building is the finest example of developing Islamic architecture and art.
Al Muizz Street
Al Muizz Street is one of the oldest streets in Cairo and is known as the "Spine of Islamic Cairo". It was established in 970 AD during the Fatimid era and has been continuously inhabited ever since. Muizz Street is home to some of the most important Islamic architectural and cultural treasures in Cairo, including mosques, mausoleums, madrasas (Islamic schools), and markets.
