Dinner & Overnight

The group will transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, they’ll check into a luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise, enjoy a delightful dinner, and spend the night aboard.

Aswan High Dam

A marvel of modern engineering, the Aswan High Dam was constructed in the 1960s to generate electricity and regulate the waters of Lake Nasser, Egypt’s vast artificial reservoir.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk was carved directly into the bedrock during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC). This colossal obelisk was intended to adorn the Karnak Temple Complex. Yet, fate had other plans; cracks in the stone left it unfinished, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient quarrying techniques.

Philae Temple

Dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood, and her husband Osiris, ruler of the underworld, the Philae Temple stands as a stunning tribute to ancient Egyptian mythology. Most of the Philae Temple complex was constructed between the 3rd century BC and the 1st century AD. This temple preserves intricate carvings and sacred traditions that reveal the spiritual life of the pharaohs.

After exploring, the group will return to their 5-star Nile Cruise for a delicious lunch and dinner, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast aboard the Nile Cruise, the group will set out with their tour guide to explore two magnificent ancient temples:

Kom Ombo Temple

Perched on the "Hill of Gold," the unique twin-design Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Ptolemaic Dynasty (180–47 BC). This remarkable structure was dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed god of the sky.

Edfu Temple

The majestic Temple of Edfu, constructed between 237–57 BC, stands as one of Egypt’s best-preserved monuments. It served as the primary cult center for Horus, the falcon-headed sky god. According to legend, this sacred site marks the location of the epic battle between Horus (good) and Set (evil).

After the tours, the group will return to the Nile Cruise for lunch and dinner, followed by an overnight stay on board.

Valley of the Kings

Journey into the heart of a legendary mountain, where the Valley of the Kings served as the sacred burial ground for Egypt’s celestial pharaohs. Hatshepsut Temple

Built to honor Queen Hatshepsut’s reign, her actual tomb lies in the Valley of the Kings. This 15th-century BC masterpiece stands as a testament to ancient ingenuity and grandeur.

Colossi of Memnon

Behold the towering Colossi of Memnon, twin statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC), erected in 1350 BC. These colossal guardians once inspired awe in ancient Greek and Roman travelers, who immortalized them through tales of the legendary Vocal Phenomenon of Memnon.

Karnak Temple Complex

Step into the greatest open-air religious complex in the world, the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples. Built over 1,700 years, beginning in the Middle Kingdom (2000 BC) and completed in the Ptolemaic era (30 BC), this vast sanctuary was the spiritual heart of Thebes.

Overnight

After an unforgettable day, the group will be escorted to Luxor Airport by private air-conditioned vehicle for their flight to Cairo, where they will spend the night.

On the last day of the 6-day Cairo and Nile Cruise tour, guests will enjoy breakfast before concluding their unforgettable journey and departing for home.
