The Great Pyramid

The monumental Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu, also known as the Great Pyramid, was constructed around 2600 BC. Standing at 147 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. This massive tomb, weighing an astounding 6 million tons, contains the king's chamber, a queen's chamber, a grand hall, and an enigmatic void.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone block, features the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC). This symbol of strength and wisdom also houses the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, placed between its paws in 1404 BC.

The Valley Temple

Dating back to the Old Kingdom (2700–2200 BC), the Valley Temple was the heart of the mummy process for Egypt's royal family during the 4th Dynasty.

Saqqara Step Pyramid

Explore the unique Step Pyramid of Saqqara, designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep for Pharaoh Djoser as his eternal resting place, built between 2670 and 2650 BC.

Memphis City

Visit the ancient capital of Memphis, founded in 2925 BC by Pharaoh Narmer, the unifier of Egypt. This city, protected by Ptah, the god of art and creation, was also the birthplace of the name “Aigyptos,” from which the modern name “Egypt” is derived.

Overnight

After a day of exploration, your group will be transferred by private, air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo Airport for your flight to Hurghada. Upon arrival, our representative will assist with your check-in before you enjoy a relaxing dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.

The group will have the entire day to explore the city resort at their own pace. They will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and spend the night in the Hurghada Hotel.

The group will begin their day with breakfast before heading out with their tour guide to meet the diving instructor. The instructor will lead the group on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant, colorful underwater wonders of the Red Sea. Afterward, the group will enjoy lunch and dinner and spend the night at their Hurghada hotel.

After breakfast, the group will set off on a thrilling quad bike ride with their tour guide to the Hurghada desert, where they'll experience a magical day in the Bedouin village. Lunch will be served along the way, and upon arrival, the tribe will warmly welcome the group. They'll indulge in a mouthwatering barbecue dinner with refreshing drinks, all in the heart of the tranquil desert landscape. Later, the group will return to their hotel to spend the night.

After breakfast, the group will check out and meet their tour guide. They will then embark on a private, air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor to explore the wonders of the East Bank, starting with:

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple, the heart of ancient Egypt's religious life, was constructed over many centuries, beginning in 2000 BC during the Middle Kingdom and continuing through to the end of the Ptolemaic era in 30 BC. The temple served as the main center for worshiping the Theban Triad and is home to some of Egypt's most impressive architectural and decorative feats, including the Great Hypostyle Hall, the precincts of Mut and Amun-Re, and the Avenue of Sphinxes that leads to Luxor Temple.

After a fascinating morning, the group will check into their Nile Cruise for a relaxing lunch. Following the meal, they'll have some time to unwind before heading out for an evening excursion, then head with their tour guide at night to explore:

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor Temple, originally constructed around 1400 BC. This temple was dedicated to several key functions, including royal ceremonies, the crowning of kings such as Ramses the Great and Amenhotep III, and hosting the annual Opet Festival, which celebrated the rejuvenation of kingship.

Dinner & Overnight

After the tour, the group will return to the Nile Cruise to enjoy a delicious dinner and relax for the night onboard.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut Temple, built between 1479 and 1458 BC, to honor Queen Hatshepsut's remarkable legacy as the chief priestess and wife of Amun. This architectural marvel stands as a prime example of the grandeur of New Kingdom architecture (1550 – 1070 BC).

Valley of the Kings

Step into the royal burial grounds of the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of pharaohs from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties are hidden. Explore the resting places of legendary rulers like Ramses the Great, Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Queen Hatshepsut, surrounded by breathtaking decorations and treasures that tell their eternal story.

Colossi of Memnon

Marvel at the imposing Colossi of Memnon, the twin statues of Amenhotep III, standing proudly since 1350 BC. These monumental statues, transported from Cairo to Luxor across 675 kilometers (420 miles), serve as a tribute to his lasting legacy.

Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, the sky falcon, this remarkable structure was built between 237 BC and 57 BC during the Greco-Roman period. Known for its excellent preservation, the temple vividly recounts the legendary battle of Horus, making it one of the best-preserved ancient shrines.

Lunch Meal

After the exploration, everyone returns to the Nile cruise for a delicious lunch. The journey continues as the cruise sails towards Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo Temple

After a short sail, upon arrival in Kom Ombo, join your guide to explore the Kom Ombo Temple, a unique twin temple built during the Ptolemaic era (180-47 BC). The temple honors two gods: Horus the Elder and the crocodile god Sobek, and is famous for its rare design.

Dinner & Overnight

The group will conclude the day with dinner followed by overnight stay on the Nile cruise, followed by an overnight.

The Unfinished Obelisk

An awe-inspiring unfinished marvel, this Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, was intended to rise 18 meters (60 feet) high. However, it cracked during construction, leaving it as one of the most fascinating remnants of ancient Egypt.

Philae Temple

Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Philae Temple, built in the 7th century BC during the Ptolemaic period, immortalizes the legendary story of Isis and Osiris, symbolizing love, motherhood, and devotion.

Meals & Overnight

The group will enjoy both lunch and dinner onboard the Nile Cruise, offering a relaxing and scenic dining experience as they continue their journey along the river.

After receiving their breakfast boxes, the group will check out from the cruise and board a private A/C car with their tour guide. They will journey to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples.

Abu Simbel Temples

These iconic Abu Simbel temples, built by Ramses II (1303–1213 BC), are masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture. Constructed in 1264 BC, the temples commemorate Ramses' victory at the Battle of Kadesh and serve as a tribute to his queen, Nefertari. The Sun Festival at Abu Simbel, a grand celebration, honors the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and Ramses II himself.

Overnight

Following lunch, they will be transferred to Aswan Airport by private A/C car for their flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, they will check into their 5-star hotel for an overnight stay.

The Egyptian Museum

Founded in 1902, the Egyptian Museum is home to over 120,000 ancient artifacts, making it the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. Discover treasures from the Predynastic Period (c. 6000 – 3150 BCE) to the Graeco-Roman Period (332 BCE – 395 CE).

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

NMEC opened in 2017. This museum is a celebration of over 5,000 years of history, housing more than 50,000 artifacts, including the remarkable Hall of Mummies, which showcases 20 royal mummies.

Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque

Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque, the oldest Islamic monument in Africa, was built in 641 AD in the heart of Fustat. The mosque is a significant historical and architectural gem.

The Hanging Church

Located in the ancient Roman and Babylonian fortress, the Hanging Church, the 3rd-century church stands as one of Cairo's oldest and most revered Christian sites.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a rare monument dating back to 882 AD, showcasing Egypt's rich Jewish heritage.

Al Muizz Street

Wander through Al Muizz Street, founded during the Fatimid period in the 10th century, offering a glimpse into Cairo's medieval past with its rich Islamic art, culture, and architecture.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Conclude the day with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a lively market from the 14th century, where you can shop and experience Cairo’s bustling artisan workshops.

Overnight

After an exciting day of exploration, the group will return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the evening.

Salah El Din Citadel

Perched on the highest point in Cairo, the Salah El Din Citadel was built in stages from 1174. The Citadel expanded, was originally a defensive fortress. It later became the heart of Egypt's government during the medieval period.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Built between 1830 and 1834 AD during the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha, the Mohamed Ali Mosque is the crowning jewel of the Cairo Citadel. This architectural masterpiece is renowned for its stunning design and artistic splendor.

Sultan Hassan Madrassa-Mosque

Constructed in 1363 AD, the Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrassa represent the pinnacle of Mamluk architecture. Its grandeur and intricacy highlight the zenith of the height of Mamluk architecture, making it one of the most magnificent mosques ever built.

Al Rifai Mosque

Located next to the Sultan Hassan Mosque, the Al Rifai Mosque was completed in 1912 AD. This remarkable mosque serves as the mausoleum for the Muhammad Ali Dynasty and is an exemplary modern take on Islamic architecture.

After a day of exploration, the group will return to the hotel for an overnight.

Pompey's Pillar

Qaitbay Citadel

After a day full of exploration, the group will return to their hotel in Cairo to relax and enjoy the evening.

On the final day of the Egypt group tour, the group will enjoy breakfast before being transferred to the airport to return home, marking the conclusion of their 14 days journey through Cairo, the Nile Cruise, Alexandria, and Hurghada.
