After a day of exploration, the group will return to the hotel in Cairo for overnight relaxation.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina

A modern marvel, this iconic library revives the spirit of the ancient Great Library of Alexandria. Opened in 2002, it houses over 8 million books, including the world’s largest francophone collection and rare historical exhibits.

Overnight

After a day of discovery, the group will return to their hotel in Cairo for a relaxing overnight stay.

The group will enjoy breakfast before checking out of their Cairo hotel. They will then travel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo Airport for their flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, they will meet their tour guide and begin their exploration of Aswan’s iconic sites:

Aswan High Dam

A modern engineering marvel, the Aswan High Dam was built in the 1960s to generate hydroelectric power and regulate the annual flooding of the Nile by creating the vast Lake Nasser.

The Magnificent Abu Simbel Temples

Abu Simbel temples, these awe-inspiring temples stand as a testament to the legacy of Ramses II (also known as Ozymandias), who reigned from 1303 to 1213 BC. Edfu Temple

One of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, the Edfu temple was constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC in honor of Horus, the falcon-headed god of victory.
