They discovered a canopic box and jars containing remains of the mummification process that were discovered in a hidden chamber.

The Pyramid of Queen Meritites I was built during the Fourth Dynasty around 2580–2560 BC. The pyramid is composed of three steps of mastaba-like sections; it also has a small mortuary temple and a boat pit.
