The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Khufu, which reigned from around 2589 BC to 2566 BC, has captivated people for ages due to its connection to many legends and doctrines, making it a fascinating site. The orientation of the Pyramid and its celestial bodies, such as the Orion star group, has sparked curiosity about its cosmic significance. Some goddesses in ancient Egyptian religion were related to the sky and cosmic powers, like Nut.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx is thought to have been carved during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, who ruled from around 2558 BC to 2532 BC. The face of the Sphinx depicts Khafre himself, and the lion's body is a sign of might and royal authority. There are ties between the Sphinx and the lioness goddess Sekhmet, who was related to war and defense. The lion imagery in ancient Egyptian culture brings to mind lioness goddesses like Sekhmet.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple goes back to the Fourth Dynasty around 2580–2560 BCE. The Valley was built during the rule of Pharaoh Khafre, and goddesses such as Isis and Hathor were important in funerary customs in the safeguarding of the descent. The Valley Temple was an important place for funerary rituals and offerings for the descendants of pharaohs, and queens have joined in or been depicted in these ceremonies.
