Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex is a breathtaking marvel of the ancient world, constructed during Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty. The complex includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and numerous other smaller pyramids, temples, and monuments, all constructed with remarkable precision and skill.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest and most well-known pyramid within the Giza Pyramids Complex. The Pyramid of Khufu was built over approximately 20 years in 2580 BC, during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth Dynasty. The pyramid stands at an impressive height of 147 meters and was once covered in smooth white limestone, which has since been largely removed.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is a colossal limestone statue located on the west bank of the Nile River in Giza. The statue stands at a height of 66 feet and depicts a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, likely representing the pharaoh's divine status.

The Valley Temple of Khafre

The Valley Temple is an ancient monument located on the Giza Plateau. It was believed to have been built during the Fourth Dynasty, around 2570 BC, as part of the funerary complex for the pharaoh Khafre. The temple was used for the mummification of Khafre’s body, and it features impressive architectural details, including granite pillars and alabaster floors.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is a state-of-the-art museum dedicated to the ancient history and culture of Egypt. The construction of the Museum began in 2002 and was in a soft-opening phase until its grand opening on 3 July 2025. The museum is designed to showcase over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun's treasures and several large-scale displays of ancient Egyptian monuments.

The Egyptian Museum

Perched on Cairo’s famous Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum holds the world’s richest assemblage of pharaonic antiquities, well over 120,000 catalogued objects ranging from Tutankhamun’s gleaming gold mask to colossal statues of Amenhotep III. For anyone keen to immerse themselves in the history and culture of ancient Egypt, it remains an unmissable stop.

After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan and check in at your 5-star hotel.

Aswan High Dam

The High Dam in Aswan is a monumental engineering project that was built between 1960 and 1971 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser, with the assistance of the Soviet Union. The dam stands 111 meters tall and stretches for 3.6 kilometers and providing hydroelectric power and regulating the flow of the Nile to support agriculture and prevent flooding.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a massive ancient monument that was never completed due to a crack that appeared in the granite during its carving, providing valuable insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques. The unfinished obelisk measures approximately 42 meters in length and would have weighed around 1,168 tons if it were completed.

Philae Temple

Philae Temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty around the 7th century BC and was dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple complex was moved to its current location on Agilkia Island in the 20th century to avoid being submerged by the rising waters of the Nile due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is a vast ancient burial site used as a royal burial ground for pharaohs and powerful nobles during the New Kingdom period of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. The valley contains more than 60 tombs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun, which was discovered largely intact by Howard Carter in 1922.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut Temple was built during the 18th dynasty, around 1479 BC, and was dedicated to the god Amun and Queen Hatshepsut. The temple's unique architecture, featuring a series of terraces and colonnades carved into the cliffs, has made its unique architecture makes it one of Egypt’s top landmarks.

The Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues that are believed to have been built around 1350 BC, during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and are believed to have guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple. Each statue stands over 60 feet tall and weighs more than 720 tons, which showcases the engineering brilliance of ancient Egypt.

Karnak Temple is a majestic city of temples that spans two millennia of Egyptian history. The Temple is a place where the divine triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu received the homage of pharaohs and priests. This amazing attraction is a place where the splendor and mystery of ancient Egypt are still alive in the stone and water.

After finishing your day, you will be transferred to the Airport to catch your flight to Cairo and overnight at your 5-star hotel.
