Giza Pyramids Complex

The ancient Egyptians built the Giza Pyramids more than 4,000 years ago as monumental tombs for the pharaohs, designed to ensure their afterlife. The Giza Pyramids Complex includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is an amazing feat of engineering and the only surviving wonder of the ancient world.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu

The Great Pyramid of Giza still stands as the only one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. This magical construction has fascinated people for centuries with its incredible size and design. The Great Pyramid remains the tallest building in the world for millennia and still impresses travelers with its huge size.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a huge statue that was made of limestone, 4,500 years old, and it is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. The Sphinx is located near the Great Pyramid in Giza, and it has a length of 73 meters and a height of 20 meters. The Great Sphinx is among the largest monuments in the world, but its history and purpose are still a mystery.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple consists of massive stone blocks that were refined with smaller ones. The Valley Temple had two main entrances, symbolizing the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. The roof of the hall was held up by 16 granite pillars that were made of a single block. The walls were clad in red granite, and the floor tiles were composed of Egyptian alabaster.

Lunch Meal

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant with scenic views of the Nile or the Pyramids before continuing your journey.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is a great achievement that demonstrates the largest and most important collection of artifacts and monuments from ancient Egypt, with more than 100,000 pieces. You will enjoy some of these are very rare and have been hidden from view until now. The Grand Egyptian Museum, completed in 2023, houses the largest and most important collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including many rare pieces.

Overnight

After enjoying your day in Giza, we will drive you in a modern vehicle to your luxury hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Meals: Breakfast Lunch
  • Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel, then get ready to join your tour guide to travel to Alexandria and experience the beauty of Alexandria’s attractions, such as:

Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa

The Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa have a main tomb that was built in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, when Egypt and a large part of the Roman Empire were under the rule of the Roman emperors Domitian and Trajan. The elements of the ancient Egyptian style, such as the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt and the sun disk of the god “Horus,” were combined with the Greco-Roman symbols such as the thyrsus of the cult of Dionysus.

The Great Library of Alexandria

Alexandria is a city that is located on the Mediterranean Sea, which Alexander the Great established as a hub of learning and culture in the Hellenistic era. The city was home to “Eratosthenes”, “Aristarchus” and other scholars who were known as the "heads" of the Alexandria Library by ancient writers, and we can imagine these brilliant men in beards and togas studying scrolls in a magical columned building.

Lunch Meal

Your lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant before continuing to visit:

Qaitbay Citadel

The Qaitbay Citadel is an important defensive structure on the Mediterranean shore. The Qaitbay Citadel was built in 1477 AD (AH 882) by Sultan Qaitbay to defend the northern Egyptian coast against the Ottoman Empire. The Sultan did this because he understood the increasing Ottoman naval power, which endangered many states that could come under Ottoman control.

Pompey’s Pillar

Pompey’s Pillar dates back to the Roman period and is part of the old ruins of a large Roman complex that was in the city ages ago. This column, a red granite column of about 27 meters in length, is a tourist site in Alexandria that stands on the hill of Bab Sidra and the ancient Kom El-Shoqafa plateau.

Overnight

After that, you will be transferred to your hotel in Alexandria for an overnight stay.

  • Meals: Breakfast Lunch
  • Overnight: Alexandria Hotel

You will have your breakfast at your hotel, then you will join your tour guide to visit:

El-Alamein Museum

The museum houses a large collection of artifacts, including military vehicles, tanks, uniforms, artillery pieces, and personal belongings of the soldiers who participated in the fighting in the area between Allied forces and the Axis between 1940 and 1943. The museum also has maps and photos that explain the strategic importance of the battles that happened in and around El Alamein.

Lunch Meal

You will have your lunch at a local restaurant in Marsa Matrouh before continuing your solo tour to:

Village of Old Shali

The Village of Old Shali demonstrates traditional desert architecture of the Western Desert, which has the same features as the city of Al-Kasaba in Morocco. It also houses Pharaonic and Roman tombs located near the village’s outskirts.

Fatnis Island

Fatnis Island is a small island in the salty Siwa Lake that is a popular spot for swimming and enjoying the beautiful view of the sunset over the lake. The island is a place of beauty where you can relax and enjoy history. The island also has a ruined temple that was dedicated to Amun, as well as a cemetery with rock-cut tombs that date back to the 26th Dynasty.
