The Valley of the Gates of the Kings is a magical site that was built in the 16th century BC as royal tombs of our magnificent kings. The tombs are carved into the rock of a narrow valley of generic, red rock, and hidden beneath the surface. Our solo travelers can enjoy the legacy of famous kings such as the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Ramses VI, Hatshepsut, Seti I, and many others.
The New Kingdom period witnessed the construction of Hatshepsut's mortuary temple (1478/72-1458 BC). This place was already sacred to “Hathor” the goddess and Queen Hatshepsut herself (1507- 1458 BC) and had the earlier mortuary temple and tomb of King Nebhepetre Mentuhotep (2008-1957 BC) from the Middle Kingdom.

Kom Ombo Temple was constructed at Kom Ombo during the Graeco-Roman period (332 BC-AD 395) north of Aswan. The temple is distinctive because it has two sections one for “Sobek” the crocodile god, and one for “Horus” the falcon-headed god. In the legend of Horus, Seth's followers transformed into crocodiles to flee from him.

The Temple of Isis at Philae was built in honor of (Isis, Osiris, and Horus) the main deities of Egyptian mythology during the rule of Ptolemy II Ptolemy II (285–246 BC). The temple walls depict the stories of how Isis resurrected Osiris and embalmed Osiris after he died. The island where the temple stands has always been a holy place for the worship of Isis.
The Nubians have preserved their unique language, and customs as well as their colorful architecture and art. Inside Nubian Village, you can visit a traditional Nubian home where you can see how the locals live and interact with them, you can taste the delicious Nubian cuisine which is influenced by Egyptian and Sudanese flavors. You can also learn about the crocodile which is a sacred animal in Nubian culture and a symbol of blessings.

The High Dam in Aswan showed the success of the Egyptian revolution in 1952 which made building a dam to manage the water flow of the Nile and generate a lot of electricity a main goal of the Egyptian government at that time. The land of Egypt has never seen a mosque older than this one, as it was built in 21 AH by Amr Ibn El-As Mosque who was the leader of the Muslim army that took over Egypt. The People say that the mosque stands where Amr Ibn El-As's tent used to be in Fustat, this ancient Mosque is the oldest in Africa not only in Cairo, but it was also a place of Islamic education before Al-Azhar Mosque existed.
Old Cairo has the beautiful Hanging Church which rests on top of a Roman fort's entrance. The church has exquisite woodwork, Coptic depictions of Jesus and his followers, and amazing sculptures of scenes from the Bible.

Emir Djaharks El-Khalili founded Khan El-Khalili market in 1382, and it has been an important part of Cairo ever since. The Khan served as a place for political meetings in the Mamluk era (1250–1517) besides being a favorite place for shoppers. Nowadays, Khan El-Khalili is the biggest bazaar in the whole Middle East as it has thousands of stalls that fill its maze-like lanes.
Al-Muizz L-Din Allah Al-Fatmi Street is a fascinating street in Old Cairo that has many cultural and historical sites such as palaces, tombs, madrasas, and mosques. Al-Aqmar Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Cairo and was built in 1125 CE, and has The Al-Hakim Mosque which is one of the biggest mosques was built in the 11th century.
