The pyramids are part of the Giza complex, and they include the Great Sphinx and temples, the workers’ village, and cemeteries. The complex dates back to the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt between 2600 – 2500 BC. The largest and oldest pyramid is the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which is also the only surviving wonder of the ancient world.
