The Great Sphinx of Giza is a famous landmark and a colossal limestone statue that was built around 2500 BC by King Khafre. The Sphinx was carved from one piece of stone as a spiritual guardian, and it holds the dream Steele of pharaoh Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC) under his chin between his paws and is associated with the legendary Horus of the Horizon.

The Valley of the Queens
