The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. The Pyramid was built over twenty years during the reign of King Khufu (2589–2566 BC) of the 4th Dynasty and composed of over 2 ½ million blocks of limestone, which weigh from 2 to 70 tons each. The Great Pyramid of Giza is a defining symbol of Egypt and the last of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue of a recumbent sphinx and it is among the world’s largest sculptures and measures (73 meters) long (20 meters) high. Ibn Tulun Mosque

Ibn Tulun Mosque is a remarkable example of Islamic architecture that has survived for more than a thousand years. The mosque was built by Ahmad ibn Tulun, the governor of Egypt under the Abbasid caliphate, between (876 - 879 CE). The mosque reflects the influence of the Samarran style from Iraq, where Ibn Tulun was born.

Al Rifa'i Mosque

One of the most impressive landmarks in Cairo is the Al Rifa'i Mosque, a majestic building that combines different architectural styles and historical periods. The mosque features a striking contrast between its exterior and interior design.
