Giza Pyramids Complex

Giza Pyramids in the heavenly capital of Cairo, which are the symbol of the ancient Egyptian civilization, are made of three main pyramids: the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, the Pyramid of King Chefren, and the Pyramid of King Menkaure. This is a wonderful place to start your visit.

Next, after witnessing the pyramids, you will find in the complex:

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid was built around 2570 BC to create a golden portal leading to stars & the universe of the gods, where King Khufu headed to his rightful place. Within this an estimated six million tons, which stands at a height of 138 meters tall is a combination of advanced architecture as seen across the legendary king's chamber.

The Magical Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is one of the largest and oldest monolithic statues in the world. The blocks were not assembled to create the Sphinx but were created through a large piece of limestone to have the facial description of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) on the colossal celestial body of a lion. The Sphinx has between its giant paws the incredible Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, which was placed in 1401 BC. Enjoy every second of your 15 days in Egypt, especially in the Giza complex, by taking photos with the Sphinx.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple is the only remaining mortuary temple at the Giza plateau, which is made of red granite and was built in the twenty-sixth century BC and was used for the embalming process, which is also known as the ritual of the opening of the mouth or the mummification process.

Saqqara Step Pyramid

Saqqara Pyramid is the earliest large-scale cut stone construction, which consists of six mastabas (in Arabic bench of mud or stone). It's a rectangular structure with a flat roof and outward-sloping sides. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty between 2670–2650 by the genius vizier Imhotep for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser.

The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa are the greatest and most important burial site, which was established between the 2nd century and the 4th century AD, and later earned the title of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is found 100 m underground, known for being the greatest example of ancient Egyptian and Hellenistic art.

After enjoying the catacombs of Alexandria, head with your tour guide and visit:

Pompey's Pillar

Pompey's Pillar is one of the largest monolithic columns of antiquity, which was carved from granite in the 3rd century AD  to commemorate the memory of "Emperor Diocletian". It is famous for being the last surviving remnant of the Serapium temple.

Qaitbay Citadel

The Citadel of Qaitbay is one of the most important castles on the Mediterranean Sea, built by the brilliant Mamluk emperor Qaitbay between 1477 and 1479 AD on the site that once stood on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria. This castle caught the attention of the rulers and sultans of Egypt throughout the ages. The reason for the construction of the fortress was a large number of direct threats to the city of Alexandria by the Ottoman Empire.

Alexandria Library

Alexandria Library consists of 11 floors, 4 of which are underground. The library contains seven specialized libraries: the audio and visual library, the children's library, the Library of the Blind, and others. It also contains 6 museums and 7 specialized research centers.

Morsi Abu Alabass Mosque

Philae Temple

Philae Temple is located on a rocky island in the middle of the River Nile, south of Aswan. It has great historical significance, not only with its monuments and temples that embody different historical eras, but also with its great strategic location. It was established during the Ptolemaic era between 380-362 BC to be the house of worship for the patron god of Isis, the goddess of motherhood, and the source of the myth of Osiris.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan is carved from pink granite. they are located in the northern part of the Aswan quarry, near the Nile's eastern shore. Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) was the reason behind the creation of the Obelisk, which was unfortunately cracked during its carving process.

Aswan High Dam

Aswan High Dam has had great importance through successive eras and is the largest national project of the twentieth century which was made in the 60s. When the water rises dramatically, the doors of the High Dam are opened to draw a scene of a rainbow in the seven colors of the spectrum in front of the high dam.

Abu Simbel Temple

Abu Simbel consists of two temples, one dedicated to Ramses II (1279-1213 BC) and the other to his wife, "Nefertari". The Small temple demonstrated a great deal of love from Ramses II to his wife. The Abu Simbel temple was completed in 1264 BC to immortalize his magnificent triumph at the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC, where the first-ever peace treaty came into existence. 

Abu Simbel Sun Festival happens on February 22nd and October 22nd of every year, the sun rises directly into the sanctuary of the great temple to illuminate the statues of Ramses and Amun. It's thought that its date corresponds to Ramesses' birthday, while the other is to the crowning & beginning of his rule.

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple is a legendary monument of everlasting grace that was established between 180 BC and 47 BC. It's a magnificent Graeco-Roman temple, located beautifully on the Nile banks north of Aswan. In fact, it is a double temple because it was dedicated to the worship of Horus the elder, the falcon-headed god, and Sobek the crocodile god. The double temple is decorated with a number of epic carvings and inscriptions showcasing the medical and astronomical facts of ancient Egypt.

Lunch Meal

Enjoy a delicious lunch on board, then relax on the sundeck as you continue sailing north along the Nile River toward Edfu.

Edfu Temple

Edfu Temple is a miraculous marvel which was made between 237 BC and 57 BC on the same land where Horus defeated Set. There are two giant falcons made of granite that symbolize Horus, God of Edfu, defeating his evil uncle. It is by far one of the biggest, most preserved, and highly striking archaeological wonders in all of Egypt.  

Overnight

After ending your unforgettable tour in Edfu, return to the cruise to relax. Enjoy dinner on board as the cruise sails towards Esna to overnight, preparing for the scenic crossing of the Esna Lock towards Luxor.

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor Temple is a royal creation of glory and excellence made to honor the epic rulers of the New Kingdom of Egypt and the Hellenistic period. It was made in 1400 BC. It is located in the city of Luxor on the eastern side of the Nile. At the beginning of the entrance of the temple, there is an obelisk which was created by Ramses II to record all that he had accomplished, especially his war victories. Even Alexander the Great has a shrine in this marvelous attraction.
